FULL-MOUTH DENTAL IMPLANTS

Let’s start from the beginning, what are full mouth dental implants? Dental implants are a fixed alternative to dentures. They are perfect for someone with missing, rotten, or loose teeth.

They have often been known as ‘full jaw dental implants’, ‘full arch dental implants’, ‘smile in a day teeth’, ‘fixed teeth’, ‘screwed in teeth’, ‘upper arch dental implants’, lower arch dental implants’, ‘permanent dentures’, ‘teeth in a day’, ‘all on 4 implants’, ‘full tooth replacement’ and ‘full-arch dental implants’.

Dental implants might look scary, but really, we promise they aren’t.

The implants themselves are made from titanium and act as a replacement for the roots of your teeth. We then attach to the top of the implants your new teeth which are made in our onsite dental laboratory.

Over the fixings of the implants (the metal bit at the top), we add some white composite bonding (a bit like a tiny filling) so that you will not be able to feel or see the implants.

PAIN-FREE DENTAL IMPLANTS FOR YOU!

HOW CAN YOUR IMPLANT PROCEDURE BE PAIN-FREE?

Our clinicians do this treatment day in and day out. They have perfected a way that means our patients do not feel anything during treatment.

60% of the time our patients are awake and 100% numb under a local anaesthetic. We do however offer the option for our patients to be asleep during the procedure in addition to local anaesthetic if this is more suitable.

Following treatment like with any procedure, there will be some discomfort post-op, this is manageable with paracetamol and ibuprofen and usually lasts for 3-5 days.

Timeline of your new smile!

To better understand the dental implant procedure and the full process of getting your new smile we have broken down appointments below:

1. ENQUIRY

First things first, you need to send through an enquiry, you can do this by either filling out the form that is in the top right-hand corner of the page, this takes less than 1 minute to complete from start to finish. The more information you can give us the more that we are able to assess your case, there is also an option on both to upload an image of your teeth.

2. 10 Minute Telephone Consultation

Following filling out the enquiry stage one of our lovely team members will contact you between 8am-8pm to ask you some questions, talk you through any questions you may have and book you in for a consultation. This appointment will be approximately 10-15 minutes. Following your telephone consultation, you will need to complete a short online medical health questionnaire to secure your new patient consultation appointment.
